“Rebuilding a whole brand taught me how infrastructure migrations work, and how to plan for design.”
Problems & solutions
- 1
Three language sites had to change by the rename date
My callOne missed spot keeps the old name alive, so finding everything came first.SolutionAudited every page in Korean, English and Japanese and replaced logos, hard-coded text, text-in-image banners and history at once.ResultAll three language sites opened on the rename date. - 2
A new domain risks losing search visibility
My callOld paths and search signals had to carry over to the new address.SolutionSet one-to-one 301 redirects, updated meta and share tags on every page, and resubmitted the address change and sitemaps to search portals.ResultMoved to the new domain without downtime.
Outcomes
- Three language sites launched together
- Zero-downtime domain switch
- Launched on the rename date
